Natural Gas Engineer:The firm seeks a BS Civil or Mechanical Engineering graduate (with EIT certification desirable) to work in the Duluth, GA offices of Keck & Wood, Inc. The candidate will work with natural gas engineers, designers and AutoCAD drafters in design activities and project management duties. The assignment would be in a Public Works/Natural Gas engineering design group. The candidate will work primarily in the office but will occasionally travel to project sites for construction review and project administration. Extensive overnight travel is unlikely.

This position will involve Natural Gas Distribution System design and project administration, working in a team environment with a Professional Engineer mentor. Design activities will include use of state-of-the-art design software and equipment. Projects will include gas system expansions and improvements, partial system replacements and relocations and metering and regulating station design.   Assignments will include both office-based work and fieldwork to review construction activity throughout Georgia.  Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation is desirable. The candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills.

This position is full-time (40 hours per week). Salary dependant on experience.

Transportation Engineer: The firm seeks a B. S. Civil Engineering graduate with certification as Professional Engineer in Georgia (or ability to become certified), to work as Project Manager leading a design team of one or more other engineers and technicians in design activities and project management.  Experience with Microstation-based highway design software is required, and experience with Georgia DOT projects is desirable.  Good communication skills and interpersonal skills are desirable.  

The engineer will be responsible for managing, planning, overseeing design (and design-review), providing technical leadership, and administering construction reviews for transportation-related projects.  The client base will include state DOT, local government, and private developers.  This is a full-time position, working primarily in the Duluth, Georgia corporate headquarters, but will occasionally involve travel to project sites for construction review and project administration.  Extensive overnight travel is unlikely.

This position is full-time (40 hours per week). Salary dependant on experience.

This position will involve civil engineering design and project administration, working in a team environment with a Professional Engineer mentor.  Design activities will include use of state-of-the-art design software and equipment.  Assignments will include both office-based work and field opportunities to review construction.  Choices for areas of practice could include transportation engineering, environmental engineering, water and sewer utilities engineering, and land development engineering. Some experience with AutoCAD or Microstation is desirable.  The candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
